As many of you already know, a large percentage of our priority migratory birds in the Southeast winter down in Costa Rica. I've been talking recently with Karen Leavelle from Friends of the Osa (main website, blog) and not only are they doing some really exciting monitoring and conservation work in Costa Rica but they are particularly interested in sharing data and working with folks here in the Southeast to work on full life cycle stewardship of priority birds.
