Unfortunately, due to tight fiscal times, many cannot afford to travel and attend the 2012 SEPIF meeting next week in Raleigh, NC. This year we will experiment with broadcasting the majority of the presentations live via webinar, and making the recordings available after the meeting. Please be aware however, that this is experimental and technical difficulties may prevent broadcasting any part or all of the meeting.
All who are interested are welcome to attend, but there are only 100 spots available. If you do view some of the meeting, please let Scott Anderson (

The sessions scheduled to be broadcast will be:
- Tuesday, Feb 7
- 7:50am – 3pm (Opening Talk, Urbanization, Alternative/Renewable Energy sessions)
- Wednesday, Feb 8
- 8am – 12:30pm (Fire, SEPIF Update sessions)
- Thursday, Feb 9,
- 8am-11:00am (Contributed Paper Sessions)
- 1 – 5pm (Steering Committee Meeting)
If you are unable to view the presentations live, we will also attempt to record them for later viewing (more details on this after the meeting).

 The South Atlantic Landscape Conservation Cooperative has just launched a new database of upcoming landscape-scale science products. It includes not just products funded directly by the LCC but also products under development by numerous partners including the Park Service, USGS, the Forest Service Global Change Program.
